With experience in both corporate and nonprofit operations, I provide hands-on, ad-hoc support that enhances nonprofits’ efficiency. Nonprofits can only realize their greatest impact when processes are streamlined, reporting is simplified, and systems are built to last. My operational expertise helps achieve long-term, sustainable change — even after our engagement has ended. I love empowering the do-gooders of the world to operate more smoothly and fulfill their mission more effectively.
I have experience working with clients in a range of industries both in nonprofit and for-profit sectors. Nonprofit clients have focused on a variety of causes from non-partisan political organization to local food security to youth development. For-profit clients have been in the clean energy, retail, packaged foods, and automotive industries.
As a solo female entrepreneur, I wante to honor my family heritage and values in naming my consulting practice. M Street Advisors pays tribute to my maiden name, Parkhurst Street Mallchok, by using the initial of my last name followed by my middle name, which is also my mother's maiden name. This name not only reflects my personal journey but also embodies my family's ethos of generosity and progress, which I hold as guiding principles in my work.
M Street Advisors serves diverse causes beyond environmental or aviary issues. The logo, depicting a Great Blue Heron, pays tribute to my grandfather, Gordon Street. As an early board member of the National Park Foundation and a prominent figure in Chattanooga, Tennessee's philanthropic community, his legacy of generosity and community involvement inspired me. The Great Blue Heron was chosen as his "spirit animal" when he passed away in 2014.
