Nonprofit clients have focused on a variety of causes from non-partisan political organization to local food security. For-profit clients have been in the clean energy, retail, packaged foods, and automotive industries.
Our founder, a solo female entrepreneur, chose to honor her family heritage and values in naming the company. M Street Advisors pays tribute to her maiden name, Parkhurst Street Mallchok, by using the initial of her last name followed by her middle name, which is also her mother's maiden name. This name not only reflects our founder's personal journey but also embodies her family's ethos of generosity and progress, which we hold as guiding principles in our work.
M Street Advisors serves diverse causes beyond environmental or aviary issues. Our logo, depicting a Great Blue Heron, pays tribute to our founder's grandfather, Gordon Street. As an early board member of the National Park Foundation and a prominent figure in Chattanooga's philanthropic community, his legacy of generosity and community involvement inspires us. The Great Blue Heron was chosen as his "spirit animal" when he passed away in 2014.
